Bienvenidos: Arrival in Guatemala

Today was the longest day of my life.

I’m still going on a whopping three hours of sleep. I just wanted to post some of the pictures I took today on the bus ride from the airport to Hope of Life in Zacapa.

I could say so much about today — my first trip outside America. And I landed in a third world nation.

Right now I’m terrified, overwhelmed and excited all at the same time. But mostly I’m just tired. I’m going to go take a much-needed shower and fall asleep at 8 p.m. in my bug-infested room.

I would like to read an article you wrote through your eyes on Bienvenidos: Arrival in Guatemala on the Hope of Life people.
    Thank you.
